Beyond its usual sphere of activity, the Chorus premiered the Oratorio a la Santísima Virgen de los Desamparados by Antonio Fornet in Palau de la Música, and performed The Passion According to St. Matthew by J. S. Bach together with the Orquesta del Conservatorio Superior de Valencia. It has also released a CD recording, which was commissioned by the Valencia Provincial Council, two motets and one salve composed by Ginés Pérez, as well as works by Juan Bautista Comes, both instructors in the chapel of the Valencia cathedral. Among its performances in the Cathedral itself, special mention may be made of La Cuaresma Catedralicia cycle. In 2003, the group was invited to perform at the first Valencia International Festival of Sacred Music.
The Chorus is directed by Luis Garrido (although the Reverend José Climent is in charge for the more solemn, large-scale cathedral events) who, in addition to transcribing and preparing the repertoire, gives advice on its performance as well.
